Six Pack Introduction Guide

Before Ryan Reynolds (in the picture) starred in X-Men Origins and Blade, he was a lean and thin actor in Two guys, a girl, and a pizza place. So how did he get so ripped? Getting six pack is one of the most popular ambition in fitness. There are many programs and plans on the market that claim to offer you the fastest way to get a six pack but many of them actually don’t work. It is very important for you to choose the most effective method. Before you accept any exercise plan or program that claims to have the answer to get that six pack, we will share our insights about the subject. Here are some proven methods that will help you to get a six pack fast:

1. Getting Rid of Body Fat

This is the most important step on your journey to six pack. A six pack is possible only when you get rid of the excess fat on your body. Many people who follow a daily workout routine, have hard well-sculpted abs but if the abs is covered by a layer of fat, then the six pack will not be visible. Reducing the body fat percentage overall is the key to shed the abdominal fat and make your six packs visible.

An average male needs as low as 6-8% fat level to have visible six packs. This rate is around 12-14%  for female body .

To get rid of the body fat, you should follow a very low fat diet along with a cardio training 4-5 times per week and muscle training at least 3 times per week. A low fat diet includes lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, fruits, healthy fats and water. The body loses large amounts of water during any exercises so drinking water is vital. Proteins and other foods will help with muscle build-up and repair. All these methods will help you to reduce your body fat level at a faster rate.

2. Building Strong Abs

In six pack exercises, you should focus on weight training. Follow a proper plan and include weight training workouts in an intense routine. Combined movements are better than isolation exercises. Bench presses, squats, pull ups, kettlebell trainings, barbell curls, dips are some of the mos effective six pack exercises.

If you are already exercising with weights, you should already have strong abs. Doing full body free weight exercises such as pull-ups, squats,  powercleans, etc. help in building a strong abs to have a six pack. The Bicycle Maneuver, Oblique Crunches and Forearm Plank exercises will also definitely help you to work your entire abs region to build a strong abs that will lead to six pack.

3. Bringing Out the Details

You reduced the body fat to the desired level and strengthened your abs, now your next goal should be to bring out the details of your abs. You should  make your abs more visible so as to get a outlined six pack. Even after solid strengthened abs and lower body fat levels, many people still have issues to get stereotype six pack because they don’t have the typical photo model stomach. If you have light-skin or have lots of body hair, then the details of your six pack will not be visible. This problem can be easily solved by tanning your skin and removing body hair
